The origional Inspiration for this comic was from a 'what if' conversation between me and a coworker of mine. It went something along the lines of:

- 'What if we find intelligent life?'
+'I almost hope we don't. I have a feeling the first thing religious people would do is try and recruit the aliens...'
-'Well those Metroid are less of a bother now, they spent their time handing out fliers for the Jehovah's witnesses instead of sucking brains...'

The second inspiration came from a true life event where a friends mother shewed a recruiter for another religion away from her door because she's a Jew.

I am not a Metroid fan, now have I played ANY of the games, so what little Metroidian knowledge I have gained is from , So this comics deticated partially to her.

It was drawn on a sketchpad in pencil and (quite obviously) hand inked and colored, mostly with sharpies (I was too impatient to wait for my boyfriend to Photoshop it...).
